Yoga means the union of the mind, body and spirit. It's an ancient medicinal practice that developed in india. Though 5,000 years ago, yoga involved breathing techniques and mediation, over the centuries postures, called "Asanas" evolved into the practice. Hatha (which means sun / moon) yoga, is the physical practice that most people in the west have come to know as yoga.
I offer private instruction which I call "yoga for everyday wellness". It blends gentle poses from Hatha yoga (don't worry- no pretzel twisting in my office), breathing techniques from the Kundalini tradition and aroma therapy to help you relieve your stress.
It can also make you feel happy, positive and more connected to the world around you. What could be better than that?
